E. Banki, (formerly)curator of the local museum Maassluis announce the inauguration
of the exhibit`Jewish community of Maassluis 1688-1942'
mrs.
J.Sterkenburg-Versluis, Mayoress of Maassluis ,inaugurate the exhibit.
As
a result of the exhibit a Dutch book is published "Joods Leven in Maassluis 1688-1942".
The authors are mrs. E. Banki, Master of Arts en drs. L.M. van
der Hoeven, Master of Science (here on the right picture).

special word of thanks goes to the Professor, Doctor of History, R.G. Fuks-Mansfeld
for her insprired support.

Van de Rhoer-Colthof receives the book. For her story, see the Candle (only in

Some
guests of honour, next of kin of the Jewish family's Van Gelderen and Coltof who
had been living in Maassluis until 1942.
